Homelessness to Hope
Project Advocacy was created by Kayla Green and
Habtamu Epley.
We created this site as an eighth-grade class project to raise awareness and give current information on homelessness in the South Suburbs of Chicago. Then later merged into the organizations discovered below.
Our Story
Secret Place International Ministries was founded in 2019 with a vision to raise awareness and provide support for individuals and families facing homelessness, domestic violence, and financial hardship worldwide.
The ministry was created to be a place of restoration where people can receive encouragement, advocacy, and access to resources that help them rebuild their lives spiritually as well as naturally.
In 2026, the ministry partnered with the OMS Legacy Foundation, which honors the life and service legacy of our founders mother, Ollie Mae Spearman, a woman known for her compassion, strength, and dedication to helping others.
Together, these organizations work to expand programs that serve communities throughout North Mississippi and surrounding regions.
